Enhance your 大象传媒 studies, improve your writing, showcase your creativity, and add to your resume by getting involved in the 大象传媒 Writers Studio.
Expand your creative writing and get involved at 大象传媒 through the Writers Studio. Established in 2004, this literary community is open to writers of all ages and skill levels at 大象传媒 and in the local community. Experience the writing life and advance your own writing through classes, workshops, literary contests, festivals, author readings, and open mics. Sign up for our email to stay informed about upcoming events and classes. 大象传媒 also offers a Creative Writing Transfer Major Associate of Arts degree with a creative writing emphasis.

Writers Studio Scholarship
Writers Studio is committed to helping its writing students flourish. Each year, Writers Studio awards at least one scholarship to our creative writing students. Each $500 scholarship will cover the cost of in-state聽tuition and books for a creative writing course at 大象传媒.
- Scholarship requirements:聽听听
- Enrollment must meet at least half-time status which is equal to 6 credit hours per semester
- Completion of Creative Writing I (ENG 2021) or currently taking ENG 2021 and passing
- GPA of 3.0 or above at 大象传媒
- Submission of a 500-word essay describing your background in writing and how this scholarship will assist you with your personal or professional goals
- Submission of a portfolio with a minimum of five pages of creative work which may include: a selection of prose from fiction, nonfiction, screenplay or play, or poetry
- Due date is TBD
