CCCS Data Book
An annual publication by the Colorado Community College System (CCCS) which reports various performance and outcomes data for 大象传媒 and the other community colleges within the System. CCCS also publishes an annual College Data Book for each individual school, which can be found on the same website.
College Navigator
College Navigator is a consumer tool created by the US Department of Education and its National Center for Education Statistics so that people can evaluate US colleges that receive Title IV funds.
College Scorecard
The College Scorecard is an online tool, created by the United States government, for consumers to compare the cost and value of higher education institutions in the United States. It displays data in 5 areas: cost, graduation rate, employment rate, average amount borrowed, and loan default rate. Search and compare colleges- their fields of study, costs, admissions, results, and more.
Common Data Set
The Common Data Set (CDS) is a collaborative effort of The College Board, Peterson's, U.S. News & World Report. The CDS was created to provide standard questions to universities and colleges. Definitions of data elements are maintained by the Common Data Set Initiative. 大象传媒 information presented in the "common" format is used by most institutions of Higher Education to facilitate comparisons among institutions.

About IPEDS
The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, referred to as IPEDS, is the core postsecondary education data collection program for the U.S. Department of Education鈥檚 National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). IPEDS is a system of interrelated surveys conducted annually by NCES to gather information from every college, university, and technical and vocational institution that participates in federal student financial aid programs. The Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, requires that institutions that participate in federal student aid programs report data on enrollments, program completions, graduation rates, faculty and staff, finances, institutional prices, and student financial aid. Data can be accessed through the 鈥溾 portion of the IPEDS website; recommended tools include 鈥淟ook Up an Institution鈥 and 鈥淒ata Feedback Report鈥. Developed by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE), the Student Unit Record Data System, or 鈥淪URDS鈥, is a collection of data submitted by Colorado institutions; this information includes Enrollment, Undergraduate Applicant, Degrees Awarded, Financial Aid, Remediation, Teacher Education and Verification of Lawful Presence. Throughout each year, the aforementioned data are submitted to the Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) via 鈥楽URDS files鈥, which are utilized in a variety of ways. About the 大象传媒 Office of Institutional Research
The Office of Institutional Research is the central hub for Arapahoe Community College鈥檚 statistical information. We respond to all requests for information both inside and outside of 大象传媒.
Our Mission
The mission of the Office of Institutional Research (OIR) is to collect, analyze, interpret, and disseminate information regarding the characteristics, activities, and operations of Arapahoe Community College. This information is used by the College community for:
- Mandated reporting requirements
- Administrative decision-making
- Academic assessment
- Institutional planning
- Public information requests
Additionally, OIR conducts research on special topics and complies with state and federally mandated reporting requirements.
