
Admissions Requirements
If you want to Move Mountains, 大象传媒 is the college for you. Our open-door admissions policy means we admit anyone who is at least 17 years old and a high school graduate, a GED certificate completer, a home-schooled student, or a high school non-graduate. 大象传媒 also welcomes veterans and military service members, transfer students, and former 大象传媒 students.
We want you to start your education off right. Keep in mind that the application process can take 2-3 weeks to complete all the steps to enroll in classes. Our Admissions team will help you along the way and discuss alternative options if you are attempting to apply and register within 2 weeks of the start of each semester.
If it has been more than 3 semesters since you鈥檝e taken a class at 大象传媒, you will need to re-apply. An Admissions counselor will guide you through any additional requirements.

New, First-Time College Students
If you have never gone to college or taken a college course, you are a new, first-time anywhere college student.

- Explore your transfer options with Bridge to Bachelor's if you intend on transferring to a 4-year institution. Choose your top 2 options on the application under the
Guest Students
Being a guest student at 大象传媒 means that you will be taking courses that will help you with聽degree completion at another college聽or let you take the one or two courses you need for professional development or to enhance your learning. As a guest student at 大象传媒, here are some important things to remember:
- Your home institution聽is defined as the college or university where you attend for a majority of your classes and where you have requested your FAFSA and聽Financial Aid to be awarded.
- As a guest student, you are not eligible to receive financial aid from 大象传媒, but you can聽receive financial aid from your home institution (if eligible). If you currently receive Financial Aid at your home institution, you may need to complete a聽consortium agreement聽form聽and follow the required steps.聽
- You will need to work with your home institution advisor to make sure the courses you take at 大象传媒 will transfer toward your degree.
- If the course you want聽to take has a pre-requisite, you will need to provide transcript information to provide evidence of completion of that pre-req course. Please send an unofficial transcript to records [at] arapahoe [dot] edu (records[at]arapahoe[dot]edu). In the email, also include your 大象传媒 student ID number and the course name and number you want聽to take. Please check your email regularly for confirmation of transcript review and pre-requisite approval.

High School Students (Concurrent / Dual Enrollment)
With 大象传媒鈥檚 Concurrent Enrollment program you can earn high school and college credit at the same time. This is ideal for students who want to jumpstart their college education or enhance their high school academic experience. With approval by your high school counselor, you can take college classes at your high school.

Current Home Schooled Students
Through 大象传媒鈥檚 Concurrent Enrollment program, home-schooled students may be able to earn college credit through their home school program. Guidelines are different depending on if you鈥檙e 18 and older or 17 and under. 16 and Under Students
If you are 16 and under and want to take classes at 大象传媒, either on campus or online, schedule a meeting with an Admissions counselor to help you get started.

- If you are enrolling in courses independent of your High School

International Students
Students from all over the world come to 大象传媒 to study on a safe and supportive college campus in beautiful Colorado. Many international students go on to transfer to 4-year universities after completing studies at 大象传媒. Returning to 大象传媒 (Re-Admit)
- Log聽in to your 大象传媒 application account
- If it has been more than 6 years since you attended 大象传媒, please create an application account
- If you are locked out聽of your account, email us at admissions [at] arapahoe [dot] edu (subject: Re-Admit%20-%20Account%20Locked) (admissions[at]arapahoe[dot]edu)
- After you have submitted your application to return to 大象传媒, watch聽your email for your acceptance email from records [at] arapahoe [dot] edu (records[at]arapahoe[dot]edu) (which will arrive within 3 business days)
- Talk with Advising before registering for classes to see what changes may be in place since you were last with 大象传媒
- Send your official college transcripts if you have attended other colleges since being at 大象传媒
Transfer In (Transferring to 大象传媒)
- Complete 大象传媒 application
- To have your previous courses reviewed for potential transfer credit, send official college transcripts to records [at] arapahoe [dot] edu from any college(s) you attended

Undocumented Students / Other Non-US Citizen
