From discovering your degree pathway to preparing for class, we're here to help you get started and navigate all the processes at 大象传媒. Follow these steps and reach out to us if you have questions.
We know you are excited to register for classes. Please note that it can take 2-3 weeks to go through this important checklist.
Start Here
Explore and Apply for Admission
- Check out the programs we offer at 大象传媒! To make your search easy, we organize our programs in Pathways and group similar programs together. Find the right program for you so you can be on your way to a career that will move mountains.
- Create an account and complete your .
- *Some programs have a selective admissions process and require more documentation and information to apply.聽
- If you are an 大象传媒 student already, log in to your聽. Start a聽new application聽with your selective admissions program as the major and select the semester for program start. Once you complete the new application, you will get follow-up emails about the supplemental items and further instructions.
- If you are new to 大象传媒 and have all of your appropriate prerequisite coursework nearing completion, log in to or begin the聽. Start a聽new application聽with the selected program聽as the major and select starting semester.
- Watch your email for instructions on how to verify and activate your account. Be sure to check your SPAM or JUNK folders. If you聽don't receive an email within 15 minutes, please contact the Admissions Office by emailing admissions [at] arapahoe [dot] edu or calling 303.797.5637 for assistance.
- Your application will be processed within 3 business days. You will receive an acceptance letter to the email address you provide. (Check your spam / junk mail if you don't see it within 3-5 days.)

Apply for Financial Aid
Apply for Financial Aid by completing your . An academic year starts with the Fall semester.

If you miss the FAFSA deadline, you still need to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible.
If you need help paying for college and cannot apply for federal financial aid, you can apply for state financial aid using the ). If you need assistance, contact 大象传媒's Financial Aid team.

Access Navigate
- Navigate will guide you through: math and English course placement, meeting with your academic advisor, registering for classes, paying tuition, and more. Access to Navigate by logging into .

- If you have been out of high school for more than 5 years and have no聽other college English or math coursework, take our college placement test to determine which level English and math classes to take.
Student Orientation
- Complete the 2-part Student Orientation Experience to learn more about 大象传媒 resources, services, and activities. The first part is online and can be accessed through .
- All students attending college for the first time (after high school) are required to complete student orientation. All other students, we recommend you complete orientation, but it is not required. You will learn all about the services we provide to you at 大象传媒.
Academic Advising
- Meet with your Academic Advisor before registering for classes. This is the 2nd part of the Student Orientation Experience. Advisors will help you get the most out of your time and money while you are at 大象传媒 by making sure you are taking the right classes for your degree, or certificate, or to transfer to a 4-year school.
Not Required to Take Orientation?
- Plan and register for classes by meeting with your academic advisor. They will help you organize your classes so you can quickly get to your degree or certificate.
After Registration
Pay Tuition
- View payment deadlines, see your monthly invoices, and pay for courses through the Student Finance tab. Make sure you pay before the deadline or sign up for a payment plan before the deadline. If you do not meet payment deadlines, you will be dropped from your courses.
Buy Books
- Purchase your textbooks or at the Bookstore before your classes start. Finding your textbooks is easy: enter your S# on the bookstore's and select the semester to pull up your schedule. Take a copy with you if you go to the bookstore.
- You can buy books with Financial Aid 10 days before the start of a semester. The bookstore can help you check your account.
Set Up Your Student Email
- Login to and click on the envelope icon in the upper left corner. All email communications must be done through your student email. Don't forget to .

Get a Parking Pass
- Get your Parking Pass from Campus Police or the Sturm Collaboration Campus Welcome Desk. You will need your paid fees receipt from the Cashier's Office or from . Passes are $25 for Fall or Spring Semester or $40 for an annual pass.
