Care Forward Colorado provides zero-cost, short-term healthcare training at Arapahoe Community College. In one year or less, you can learn the skills to become a certified nursing assistant, emergency medical technician, phlebotomy technician, or medical assistant, and more in-demand professions.

Healthcare jobs are some of the fastest-growing in Colorado and provide a wage that can support you and your family. There’s also opportunity to advance in your career. Once you earn your certificate, you can continue your training at ´óÏó´«Ã½ to add to your skillset and qualify for higher-paying jobs.

How does it work?

Students who have been impacted by COVID-19 and who declare one of the certificates below as their primary major may be reimbursed for tuition, fees and materials for that major through 2024.

*If you are a current high school student in Colorado, these programs are available to you upon high school graduation.

• Paramedic Preparation Certificate (32 credit hours)
• Phlebotomy Certificate (7 credit hours)
