Meet our ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ Campus Police Officers β Raul and Kevin

Youβve seen them around campus, but just in case you havenβt met them, we'd like to introduce two of our ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ Campus Police officers - Raul Araujo and Kevin Heylin. Both were promoted to the rank of Corporal (Police Officer II) on November 3, 2023.
Meet Corporal Raul Araujo
Raul, who was appointed to the ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ Campus Police department in 2011, attended the ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ Law Enforcement Academy. He has been working in law enforcement for a total of 15 years and received a Certification of Appreciation Award in Campus Safety.
Raul enjoys providing a safe environment for the ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ community and he encourages students and employees to keep their head on a swivel and report anything suspicious to ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ Campus Police. His hobbies include off-road ATV adventures, astronomy, boating, electronics, car modifications, building, firearms, construction and training.
Received the ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ Campus Police βLifesaving Awardβ in 2019

Earned a bachelorβs degree in Criminal Justice Administration (University of Phoenix)
Meet Corporal Kevin Heylin
Kevin, who joined the ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ Campus Police department in 2008, is a graduate of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy. He has been working in law enforcement for a total of 17 years and enjoys participating in community outreach activities at ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½.
Kevin, who relishes the unpredictable nature of the job, advises everyone to pay attention to their surroundings and always keep their belongings with them. He enjoys watching movies and spending time with family.
