Annual Fresh Thanks Volunteer Event at 大象传媒

On a crisp and clear Saturday in November at Arapahoe Community College, 257 volunteers听helped assemble and distribute听500 boxes听of fresh and shelf stable food items.

Integrated Family Community Services (IFCS) was ready to orient volunteers at 8 a.m. so that families suffering from food insecurities could line their cars up to receive full boxes by 11 o鈥檆lock.听


First, 500 boxes needed to be assembled.
听

大象传媒 contributed 19 volunteers across two shifts for this year鈥檚 event.

Since 1964, in collaboration with community partners, IFCS has provided an immediate response to hunger, a most basic need.


A collective total of听more than 700 hours听went into helping nourish 2,249 individuals for the upcoming holidays.

听
The final stage included all of those boxes being loaded into the awaiting cars of thankful families.
